By engaging thousands of college and high-school student-athlete volunteers across the country, we are inspiring the next generation of readers and leaders. Annual Summaries

Columbus Kids' Book Bank

2nd & 7's book bank accepts new and gently used book donations to give to schools, teachers and kids who need them.

Role Model Reading Program

High school and college student-athlete volunteers are reading with 2nd graders all across the country.

Digital Books

2nd & 7 writes its own series of books featuring a group of friends - the Hog Mollies - who learn a valuable life lesson in every adventure. The collection is available for free on our website.

BOOK BASH AT THE BRIDGE

Saturday, August 23

Held throughout the streets of Bridge Park in Dublin, Ohio, this family-friendly event includes a car show presented by Byers Auto, a live concert presented by Diamond Hill, games and fun for the everyone! This event is free to the public, but VIP ticket holders and sponsors get food, drinks, unlimited games, special access to our VIP areas and more! All proceeds from sponsorships, table and ticket sales fund our mission!

OUR READING PROGRAMS

Our reading program pairs student-athletes with 2nd graders all across the country. Each child reads with these positive role models and gets a new book. We target schools with economically disadvantaged kids and communities where we can make the biggest impact.

STUDENT-ATHLETE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

High-school and college student-athletes from all across the county volunteer as positive role models for the children we visit throughout the year in our reading program. They read with the 2nd graders and take the time to discuss the life lesson contained in each story.
