Reading Program

2nd & 7’s Role Model Reading Program brings positive student-athlete role models into elementary classrooms to read alongside students and spark a love of literacy. Each child receives their own copy of the Hog Mollie book read to them, helping them build a home library while strengthening confidence, reading skills, and a belief in themselves as future leaders.

Reading Program Partners provide The 2nd & 7 Foundation with the ability to fulfill its mission of providing free books and positive role models to kids in need while encouraging young athletes of the community to pay it forward. Reading Program Partners allow us to write, illustrate, and publish 90,000 books each year. Our partners support the general administrative costs of implementing our Tackling Illiteracy program.

Reading Program Partners have a visible presence in everything we do.  Partner logos are included on our website, paid advertising, signage and at our events throughout the year. Partners have the ability to customize their sponsorships and level of involvement at our annual events including Football Camp, Game Night,  Celebrity 8-Ball Shootout and Pay It FOREward Golf Outing.   Please refer to each event for sponsor package details.
