We are thrilled to feature three Olentangy Orange High School Seniors as our Student-Athletes of the Week! Brooke Little, Grace Frye and Brooklynn Miller have been actively involved with The 2nd & 7 Foundation outreach in their Ohio community for four years. While visiting second grade students five times each school year, Brooke, Grace and Brooklynn exemplify the pay it forward spirit of our program! These positive role models are involved in various sports: Brooke in volleyball, Grace in track and cross country and Brooklynn in soccer and swimming. While they are not teammates on the field, they share a common enthusiasm towards the second grade students that they visit. Some of their favorite aspects of the program include: "seeing the excitement the kids have when they receive their books", "talking to the second graders after we finish each book because they are so eager to answer our questions and discuss them" and "seeing how excited the kids are when we walk in the door". Thanks to the efforts of Brooke, Grace & Brooklynn and the other Olentangy Orange student-athlete role models, over 1,100 free books will be distributed through their program this year. Congratulations, Brooke, Grace and Brooklynn! We wish you the best of luck in your endeavors after high school!
