STUDENT-ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT, GABE SMITHLINE

September 23, 2019

Congratulations to Gabe Smithline, our first Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2019-20 school year!

Gabe is a junior and a lacrosse player at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. He is majoring in economics and enjoys cooking in his spare time. Gabe enjoys his time as a reading volunteer and states, "I just love being around kids. At that age, everyone is so constantly happy. Also, I really love how honest the kids are." Prior to attending school at Lafayette College, Gabe worked as a special needs helper for a 3-year-old autistic boy. Gabe shares that this was the most rewarding experience of his life.

Special thanks to Gabe for his commitment to our 'Tackling Illiteracy' efforts in the Easton, Pennsylvania, community!
