STUDENT-ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT, EMILY LONDOT

October 14, 2019

We are excited to feature Utica High School Volleyball and Basketball team member, Emily Londot, as our Student-Athlete of the Week! Emily was nominated by our reading program contact in Utica as, "she is a highly motivated student-athlete who gives 110% to everything that she does, including reading with our students. Her kindness lights up any room that she enters. We are very proud to call Emily a Redskin."

Emily has played on the USA Volleyball Youth National Team, is a 18U World Champion for Volleyball, a National Champion for club volleyball and is a member of the National Honor Society. She has committed to play volleyball for The Ohio State University. When not playing a sport, Emily enjoys photography. Emily shares, "The thing that I enjoy most about 2nd & 7 is getting to interact, meet and inspire the young people in our community."

We thank Emily for setting a positive example for young readers in Utica, Ohio!
