STUDENT-ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT, ALEXIS AND AVERY SCHONE

October 08, 2019

We are excited to feature twins from Big Walnut High School as our Student-Athletes of the Week! Alexis and Avery Schone are senior soccer and basketball team members. Both have played a significant role in our reading program outreach for 3 years. Alexis shares, “My favorite part is being able to read and interact with the kids. I love seeing their faces light up when we come in and how excited they get”.  Avery states, “I love being able to give back to the elementary schools. I also enjoy seeing how happy the kids are when different sports teams come to read to them”.

Thanks to Alexis and Avery for their commitment to giving back by inspiring young readers in Sunbury, Ohio!
