Amanda McNulty, a senior at The Ohio State University and a member of the swimming team is our student-athlete of the week. Amanda excels in the classroom, pool, and community. Ohio State Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-Big Ten and swimming in three Big Ten Championships are all accomplishments of this native of Greenville, SC. In addition, Amanda is extremely active in The Second and Seven Foundation. She is often a weekly reader in the Columbus community and a big advocate for getting more student-athletes involved in our outreach. We are so grateful that Amanda makes our "Tackling Illiteracy" outreach a priority. Amanda's efforts will be instrumental in helping us pay it forward to nearly 8,000 young readers in central Ohio this school year.

Amanda Shares, “My favorite part of Second and Seven is seeing the kids excitement they have when we come read and share what being a student-athlete is all about. It is a special feeling knowing you’re impacting little kids and putting smiles on faces. I love being able to give back in such a fun and meaningful way.”
