A limited number of individual tickets will be sold for this event. They are available for purchase at Participating teams may invite up to 20 guests, whose names will be included on our guest list at the door.


No, all names will be on list at registration and must be pre-registered by the Team Captains.

No way! We welcome players of all skill levels from beginner to self-proclaimed pro!
Absolutely! Companies, friends, co-workers can go together to buy a team, split in half, thirds or quarters. Just come up with a name that represents everyone and provide one main contact for the team. Each team can invite 20 guests total.

Limited spaces will be available in the North Market parking lot. Plenty of parking is available in the garage on Vine Street and in the Columbus Convention Center parking garages. 

Yes! Several North Market food vendors will remain open for our event. Watershed Distillery will provide specialty drinks and beer and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. 

This is a casual event. This time of year is usually pretty hot, so shorts are perfectly acceptable.

The tournament consists of 32 teams and is a double-elimination format. Each team starts off by playing their opening match in the "Winner's Bracket." Each match will consist of a maximum of 3 games and the winner of these "best of three" game matches will advance in the "Winner's Bracket" while the loser is placed in the "Loser's Bracket." Once in the "Loser's Bracket," you must win your match to keep playing. If you lose a match in the "Loser's Bracket," your team is eliminated from the tournament. The winner of the "Winner's Bracket" will face off against the winner of the "Loser's Bracket" for the championship where the winner of the "Winner's Bracket" can technically lose one match before being eliminated. In the event that time becomes an issue, we reserve the right to condense matches in the "Loser's Bracket" to a one game winner advance format.

Yes! Guests will enjoy live music from favorite local band Off the Hook.

Mission: To promote reading by providing free books and positive role models to kids in need while encouraging young athletes of the community to pay it forward.

The 2nd & 7 Foundation was founded in 1999 by three former OSU football players – Luke Fickell, Ryan Miller and Mike Vrabel - who wanted to continue to give back to their community. Since 1999, The 2nd & 7 Foundation has given away over 100,000 books to kids in need all across the country. In the 2012-2013 school year alone, The 2nd & 7 Foundation visited over 160 schools and gave away over 17,000 books.

Tackling Illiteracy: The 'Tackling Illiteracy' reading program began in central Ohio and is now being implemented in communities all over the nation. As a part of this program, college or high school student-athletes visit 2nd graders in local elementary schools to read to them, talk about the importance of their education and give every child a free book to take home. The focus is on schools with high populations of students on free or reduced lunch plans or communities that need it the most. A donation of just $25 allows us to ship 120 books to a school anywhere in the country.
