FUNdamental Football Camp FAQs

Q: We booked the camp months ago and now cannot attend each day. Can we get a refund?
Yes, we will be able to give you a portion of your camp registration fee back BUT there is a non-refundable processing fee of $10. Please give us your name and mailing address so we can send you the refund.

Q: I paid online and my credit card was charged twice. Can I get a refund?
Yes. Please provide proof of this overcharge (in the way of printed out credit card statement). Please give us your name and mailing address so we can send you the refund.

Q: How do I make out my check?
All checks payable to The Second and Seven Foundation.

Q: The jersey that my child received does not fit him. Can I exchange sizes?
If the jersey size your child received is the same size that you mentioned online, we may not be able to accommodate your request. We will need to wait until ALL campers receive their jerseys before we can swap it out. We will try to accommodate you in any way we can, however, there are only 400 jerseys available.

Q: I cannot make it to pick up my child at 12pm… I will be late from an appointment. How long after camp ends each day will someone be here?
We encourage all parents to make arrangements for pickup of their child by noon each day. If there is a conflict, please notify a volunteer so we are aware of the situation.

Q: Can my child be placed on his friends’ team?
We will try our best to accommodate requests, but no guarantees can be made.

Q: What does my child need to bring to camp?
Your child should bring a water bottle with his name on it. (Water will be provided.) He should wear shorts and a short sleeve shirt with his name on it. Some kids wear cleats but they are not mandatory. THERE ARE NO PADS AT THIS CAMP!

Q: What do we do about rain or lightning?
Each day, we check the weather and if there is a threat of lighting then we take shelter in the school and review some of the basic fundamentals with each of the coaches and their teams. If there is rain with no lightning, then we continue with our drills.

Q: Will this camp involve contact or hitting?
This camp is a NON-CONTACT camp! We will run through many drills that are based on fundamentals of football and will have time at the end of each day to play a two-hand touch game where every child is involved.

Q: Will there be a medical trainer available?
There will be a certified medical trainer on site each day to ensure that the safety of every child is taken care of.

Q: What if my child has asthma?
If this is the case, please seek out one of the camp volunteers (in RED shirts) and we will make sure that the trainer is aware of his condition, and we will introduce you and your child to the trainer.

Q: What if my child has food allergies?
If this is the case, please seek out one of the camp volunteers (in RED shirts) and we will make sure that he gets the proper snack and lunch during that time. It would be helpful for you to bring a snack if your child’s allergy is severe.

Q: Is there a lost and found?
Yes, we will keep a box of lost items at the registration tables and lock it up each night.

Q: Will there be autographs at camp and can we take pictures?
THERE WILL BE NO OUTSIDE AUTOGRAPHS! The last day of camp, we will allow each camper to have one of the camp items (either his shirt or football that is given to him) signed by the coaches. At that time, he can try to take a photo but we ask that each camper respect the other campers as everyone wants to get autographs on the final day.
